Michael Endlich got his first taste in the realm of jewelry design in his high school elective "Beginning Jewelry Making." His passion for jewelry making grew when he realized how much joy it brought his mother and his girlfriend when they received pieces of jewelry that were specially created for them. After high school, he apprenticed as a goldsmith's diamond setter here in the Bay Area. Ultimately becoming head diamond setter, he stayed with that company for 7 years. All the while, what he missed most was the personal connection he made with the people who were wearing his designs. That's when he started a wholesale business selling custom and gallery pieces. Soon after that, he opened a small space in Rockridge where he has had the good fortune of creating custom jewelry for many different and interesting people. |
