The Pavé Story

The story of Pavé is the story of passion, inspiration and artistic vision: passion for nature's infinite beauty and forms, the inspiration of clients' stories expressed in metaphor and symbol, and the magic of jewelry making as an art form that merges the two.

Pavé Fine Jewelry was founded in 1983 by Michael Endlich, an award winning jewelry designer. Through his passion and artistic vision, Michael has cultivated a team of highly talented designers and jewelers who support Pavé's mission to provide exceptional and unique fine jewelry for their clients. Collectively, Michael Endlich and senior staff have over 100 years of fine jewelry experience.

Craftsmanship

Specializing in custom jewelry, Pavé is widely known for its distinctive artistic designs with an emphasis on personalized service and impeccable workmanship. From its modest beginnings, Pavé has grown to become one of the finest custom jewelry stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. With its flagship store in Rockridge, Oakland, for over 25 years, Pavé opened a second location on 4th Street in Berkeley in 2006.

Quality

In addition to custom jewelry, Pavé has a distinctive line of jewelry designed by Michael Endlich and his team of designers and made in our in-house workshop. Pavé also offers a wide selection of designs from other artists we admire, many of whom are independent and/or local.

At Pavé, we strive for luxury with a conscience. We are a locally-owned independent business, performing all of our manufacturing in-house. We support eco-friendly practices of recycling metals and gemstones. We sell certified conflict free diamonds from around the world and have a fine selection of Canadian diamonds. Additionally, we showcase a rotating selection of fine vintage and estate pieces.
