How does the custom design process work?

What’s your return policy?
For all unworn, unmodified, stock merchandise, we accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase. Within 15-30 days of purchase, we accept exchanges or offer store credit. After 30 days, we may consider accepting your piece for resale on consignment. We do not accept returns on special orders or pieces that have been modified.
How do you ship online orders?
UPS Overnight or UPS 2-day, depending on insurance value. An adult signature is required for delivery. Shipping is free on any order over $500! All in-stock items will ship on the next business day (weekend orders will ship on Tuesday, as we’re closed Monday), and if an item needs to be sized, it will ship within 7 business days. We cannot ship to PO boxes.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we do not at this time.
Do you offer appraisals for insurance purposes?
Yes. We can offer both formal legal appraisals for a fee, and in-house replacement value documents (complimentary upon request with purchase). Read more about appraisals here.
What if a ring I’m interested in is not currently stocked in my size?
Choose your size from the drop-down menu on that piece — we’ll size it for you, complimentary. We also offer complimentary engraving on the inside of most rings, if you like. Keep in mind that generally only a handful of characters will fit.
Why don’t all rings have a resize options?
Some pieces need to be ordered from the designer in the correct finger size or made to order in the correct finger size. If that’s the case with the ring you want, you can typically still purchase the ring in your finger size; it’ll just take a little longer! Email us with your inquiry.
How do I find the right finger size?
While the best method is having one of our sales associates measure the size in person, there are some methods that will help you figure out the right size. This chart will help. Most of our engagement rings are made in the average female finger size (6-6.5), and we are happy to size the ring perfectly after it’s been presented if you’re unsure about the correct finger size prior to purchase.
What if I’m interested in modifying a piece?
In many cases, you can! Email us regarding your inquiry and we’ll get back to you shortly with a quote for the modification. If the modification is extensive, we’ll suggest creating a custom piece in a similar style.
How can I make an appointment for a custom design consultation?
You can make an appointment through our Make an Appointment form, or call either store to set up an appointment with one of our designers.
Do you buy gold? Diamonds? Gemstones?
We buy precious metals (silver, platinum, and gold) for recycle value. We also buy diamonds for recycle value, and occasionally for resale. We occasionally buy gemstones for resale on a case-by-case basis. Once an offer has been made, we will supply either a check or store credit (a higher dollar amount is offered if you choose store credit). This service is only available in-store at this time.
Do you buy vintage pieces for resale?
Not often, but we’re happy to take a look!
Where is your jewelry made?
In our workshop! While we carry the work of many different designers, all of Pave’s own designs are made in-house.
Do you offer financing?
Yes! We offer Wells Fargo Jewelry Advantage financing, interest-free for 12 months. Email us for more info.
